1) General Provisions
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Ծիրան ակադեմիան (Tsiran Academy) processes and protects your personal data for the purposes of selling online courses and providing services on our website. We act in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia, the Law on Personal Data Protection of RA, and applicable international standards.
2) Data We Collect
- Account/Registration — first and last name, email, phone number, password (hashed), language.
- Orders & Payments — order number, purchased courses, paid amount, currency, payment status, transaction identifier, receipt details, payment error logs.
- Learning/Participation — completed lessons, quiz results, issued certificates.
- Technical — IP address, device/browser, cookies, usage logs, monitoring and security events.
3) Payment via AMIO Virtual POS
Card payments are processed on the secure payment page of AMIO Bank CJSC (virtual POS). Card data (card number, expiry date, CVV/CVC) are entered and processed by the bank. We do not see, store, or process your full card details. Supported cards: ArCa, Visa, MasterCard. Transactions are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL) and handled in accordance with payment security requirements.
4) Purposes and Legal Bases
- Contract performance — sale of courses, access provision, account/registration management.
- Legal obligations — accounting, tax reporting, anti-fraud controls.
- Legitimate interests — website security, service improvement, statistics/analytics.
- Consent — marketing communications (if you opted in). You can withdraw consent at any time.
5) Sharing of Data with Third Parties
- Bank— AMIO Bank and its partners to process transactions.
- Accounting and tax authorities — where required by law.
- ICT and hosting providers, email/messaging services — under contractual data-processing terms.
- Law-enforcement authorities — upon lawful requests.
6) Retention
Order/financial records are stored for at least the periods required by law. Account data are retained while the account remains active or until deletion, subject to legally required exceptions.
7) Security
We apply technical and organizational measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, backups, and log monitoring.
8) Your Rights
- Access, rectification, deletion (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing.
- Data portability, withdrawal of consent, objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
